Camp O.C.E.A.N.S. Ages 15-16
Ocean Career Exploration and Nautical Science

Think you want to be a marine biologist? How about an oceanographer? Maybe you prefer marine technology specialist? You can check out your career options at our camp designed to let you step into the swim fins of different types of marine scientists and gain some first-hand experience using the kinds of instruments and ROV technology their research requires.

Camp O.C.E.A.N.S is a two-week, residential only camp.

New! This year we are offering a new Camp O.C.E.A.N.S. session, called Camp O.C.E.A.N.S. Gulf Stream, which is one-week long for commuters only.

Camp Information
Camp OCEANS:
Sunday - Friday (two-weeks)

Friday pick-up is at 1 p.m.

Camp OCEANS Gulf Stream:

Staff/Child Ratio:

Monday - Friday (one-week); 8:00am - 4:00pm

Residential campers must arrive on Sunday by 3 p.m.

We are currently in the process of planning for Summer 2008.  We value your interest in MarineQuest and encourage you to join our mailing list, and we will contact you with updated information as soon as it becomes available. Please indicate which camp you are interested in.

To give you an idea of what the two-weeks will look like we are providing this agenda from summer 2007. Please note that this is last summer's schedule, and this summer will not be exactly the same.

 
Residential Information
The MarineQuest staff is more than happy to pick-up and drop-off campers at Wilmington International Airport - click here. If you need this service, be sure to inform us when you register.
• Linens are not provided - bring XL twin sheets, pillows, and blankets. 
• Bring at least four towels for the week. 
• Laundry facilities are available - bring detergent and quarters.
• No electronic equipment (other than cell phones) is allowed.
