Young detectives will be hot on the trail of a master environmental criminal tracking him through our local habitats. Campers will spend the week using their CSI forensic skills to decipher clues and collect evidence to solve crimes against the environment in this ecological mystery!
Activities include:
- Field trips to the beach, marsh, fouling station, coquina outcrop, carnivorous plant bog, cypress swamp, UNCW Center for Marine Science, NC Aquarium, and ranger stations.
Highlights include:
- Learn how to document a crime scene, make traps, analyze water samples, and cast mud prints; enjoy paddle boating and shallow water snorkeling; meet some park rangers and write your own environmental protection laws.
