Teaching:
Dr. Thayer currently teaches GLY 101 Physical Geology, GLY 310 General Petrology, GLY 510 Sedimentary Environments and GLY 511 Clastic Petrology. Paul is currently teaching a new course in Natural Disasters.
Research Interests:
Dr. Thayer is a clastic petrologist. He has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from the Triassic Basins of North Carolina to nuclear repository sites throughout the United States.
