Course Descriptions:
EDN 495 Assessing Quality Teaching and Learning
Course Description:
EDN 495 Assessing Quality Teaching and Learning is designed to provide the
final semester of the CT3 / NCTeach curriculum, extending the learning from
the initial spring and summer courses. Topics for this course will include
effective teaching, the North Carolina Teacher Performance Appraisal system,
technology, and Praxis II review.
During this semester the students will complete the technology products related
to the state-required product of learning.
The format of this class will include class discussions (large and small group), cooperative learning tasks, hands on learning, student presentations, and some lecture.
