UNCW’s Collegiate Middle Level Association (CMLA) sponsored an evening of dialogue with two local middle school principals—Ms. Sharon Dousham, Principal of Emma B. Trask Middle School, and Mr. Barren Nobles, Administrator of Wilmington Christian Academy. One participant summed it up nicely: “These two local middle school administrators provided insight and advice on how to prepare for and present yourself as a new teacher seeking a position.”
Those attending had this to say:
- "the interview tips were extremely helpful”
- " I enjoyed this one-on-one informal session with the administrative personnel.”
- “Both Principals focused on giving us great tips on getting a job, as well as the interview process.”
