Site Coordinator Liaison Roles and Responsibilities

This individual serves as coordinator and direct liaison for all the Site Coordinators in the ten public school districts of the Professional Development System. The Site Coordinator Liaison…

  • Creates a link between public school partners, university faculty, and the Watson School of Education;

  • Coordinates public contact with Site Coordinators regarding duties and expected roles;

  • Facilitates dialogue among Site Coordinators;

  • Facilitates needed communication between Site Coordinators and other PDS partners;

  • Responds to Site Coordinators’ questions and needs in a timely manner, seeking answers from those PDS partners whose expertise is needed;

  • Serves on the PDS Implementation Team, working closely with the PDS Training Functional Team and the PDS Communications Functional Team;

  • Assists with PDS Partnership training; and

  • Assists in creating a professional culture in which PDS interns have multiple and varied opportunities for quality field-based experiences.
