System Key Contact Roles and Responsibilities

This central-office level administrator serves as the critical communication link between the WSE university-school partnership and the public school system's superintendent.  The key contact works closely with the PDS Director in handling the logistics of all site-related activities originating in the Office of PDS.  Among the responsibilities assumed by the system key contact are the following: 

  • Maintains a close working relationship with the superintendent and keeps the superintendent informed of PDS-related work taking place within the system

  • Represents the superintendent and the system's position at PDS meetings and functions as needed

  • Arranges the times, dates, and locations for all PDS Orientation Trainings and Extended Trainings in concert with the PDS Director

  • Informs system principals and teachers of PDS opportunities and trainings available within the system

  • Informs the PDS Office of any professional growth opportunities available for WSE faculty through the system

  • Arranges the logistics for and attends the site level Intern Placement Meetings each semester for the upcoming teacher intern placements.
