What is it?

The Foundations Portfolio is a compilation of selected work from each of the foundations courses (EDN 200, EDN 203, EDN 301, or EDN 303) in the Watson School of Education.

What you have to do?

The below information only applies to you if you teach one of the foundations courses: EDN 200, EDN 203, EDN 301, or EDN 303.

At the beginning of the semester, set aside time to Inform students about the requirements. You are asked to provide ten to fifteen minutes to allow a graduate student to introduce TaskStream and the Foundations Portfolio to your class. You may schedule this visit at your convenience. Or, if you feel comfortable with TaskStream you can inform you students of the requirement, and provide them with this web site as a resource. If they have questions you can refer them to room 111.

At the End of the Semester

Inform students that they are to use their TaskStream account to store specific evidence from each course and to place it in the Foundations Portfolio. (Your course committee has determined what evidences are to be placed in the students portfolio.) Inform students that if they need help they can visit room 111. Set a deadline for your students to have their evidence posted.
