There are two Technology Liaison's that work at the Watson School of Education. They provide professional development opportunities for interns, partnership teachers, and administrator's. Those opportunities for interns include assistance with technology lesson project, Tasktream training and support, and onsite support with technology integration. The opportunities for administrators and partnership teachers include special initiatives and training, technology support, staff development, and knowledge of emerging technologies. The Liaisons also participate is several special programs and grants including Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to use Technology (PT3), Coalition for Transition to Teaching (CT3), NC Teach, and NC Quest.

Jeff holds a master's degree from Pepperdine University in
Educational Technology and is currently working on a doctoral degree in
Educational Technology. Jeff provides training and support to all members
of the PDS partnership. It is Jeff's hope that we can equip intern teachers
and inservice teachers with the knowledge and support they will need to
use technology effectively in their classrooms.

Beth Allred is a nine year veteran mathematics teacher who earned her
national board certification. She is working on faculty development, teaching
in the undergraduate programs and serving our outreach efforts. Beth is
a UNCW graduate in mathematics and received her MS in the MIT program.
