Academic Interests  

Dr. Huntley began her teaching career at Clayton High School in 1977 and transitioned to university teaching in 1984 at UNCW.  She is currently an Associate Professor of English with teaching and research interests in the following areas: medical rhetoric, rhetoric of place, and theory to practice in English Education.
