4. Administrative committees

University committees that are not committees of the Senate are described in Appendix N. Committees such as the Athletics Council, Calendar Committee, Compliance Committee, Grade Appeals Committee, Planning Committee, and Safety Committees (including Radiation Safety, Committee on the Protection of Human Subjects, etc) and ad hoc committees of the administration are mandated, regulatory, or administrative committees that report directly to the Chancellor or other administrative officer. Committee composition and membership are determined by the Chancellor.
