All films are free, and will be shown on the big screen in 35mm, with English subtitles, in the Lumina Theater at the Fisher Student Center on the UNCW campus. Wednesday, October 11, 7:30p.m.
________________________________________ Set in a low-income housing suburb of Paris, Little Jerusalem depicts the life of a Tunisian family of eight sharing an already cramped apartment in a neighborhood with a high population of Jewish immigrants. Karin Albou’s first feature film delicately interweaves the intimate lives of two women while raising questions of religious interpretation, freedom, sexuality and family relationships.
