Director of Post Production Audio Services at North Star Sound and Post. Markowski is a veteran film and video audio engineer, whose credits include Academy award, Emmy award and Sundance winning programs. Other mixing credits include over 50 narrative feature films, and broadcast credits for Lifetime, Bravo, Disney Channel, The Learning Channel, HBO, CBS, NBC, and PBS. His work experience includes production sound mixing, post-production audio supervision, post production sound editing, sound design, final re-recording sound mixing. In addition to his hands-on creative experience in sound work, Alex has designed and supervised the construction of post-production audio facilities, including a feature film dubbing stage, two television edit/mix rooms in New York, and acoustical enhancements to the screening room at EUE Screen Gems. He teaches The Practical Art of Sound for Film and Television.
