
Department Visits
The Film Studies Department welcomes prospective students and their families to King Hall to see the department and pick up informational flyers available in the building lobby.
Prospective students and their families are welcome to visit the Film Studies Department in King Hall during campus operating hours. Tours are available only on the dates listed below. The Film Studies website and Frequently Asked Questions will answer most questions you may have about Film Studies at UNCW. Please call (910) 962-7502 with additional questions.

Department Tours
Film Studies offers three department tours each year. All tours are conducted by department chair Dave Monahan. Tours include a detailed and illustrated description of the Film Studies major, a question and answer session, a screening of student films, and a walk through of the Film Studies facilities, including department classrooms, movie theater, digital editing lab, equipment room and the black box sound stage. If you would like to attend a tour, please call (910) 962-7502.
Spring Tour: Friday, April 5th, 2013, (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) King Hall, Room 101. The Spring tour will be in conjunction with the Visions Film Festival and Conference. Interested students and their families are invited to attend Visions as part of their introduction to Film Studies.
Summer Tour: Friday, August 2, 2013 (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) King Hall, Room 101. Call to make reservation.
Fall Tour: September, 2013 (date and time TBA) will be in conjunction with SeaHawk Saturday . Call to make reservation.
