Certification Students who are enrolled at least half-time in some certificate programs are eligible to receive Stafford Loans.

Programs that qualify for Stafford loan funds are:

• Teacher Licensure Borrowing level for a dependent student is $5,500 and $12,500 for an independent student per year. Students in this program are also eligible for Federal Work-Study. (All courses must apply toward the certificate.)
• Graduate Certificates in Gerontology, Environmental Studies, Hispanic Studies and Applied Statistics. Borrowing level is $12,500 per year.
