2 year Active Duty (AD) + 4 years Reserves; 3 years AD, or 2 years AD |

Must possess HS diploma or equivalent. Vet must have honorable discharge and have deducted $100/month from AD pay for 12 months. Chapter 34 recipients qualify under this chapter as well. |
Counseling, job placement and post employment services for up to 18 additional months. VA will pay for special support services as needed to include unique transportation expenses. |

Served on AD at least 182 continuous days any part of which occurred inclusive between 2/1/55 to 12/31/76. Delayed entry also if service began in 1977. |
