Ms.Benitez-Galbraith is a full-time lecturer with primary responsibility teaching lower division Spanish language courses. She serves on the advisory board for UNCW Centro Hispano and is actively involved in several outreach programs to the local Hispanic community.  Mrs. Galbraith was born and raised in Mexico. Ms. Galbraith’s research focus is on how language diversity affects immigrant entrepreneurial behavior, and has published several articles examining how the local immigrant economies evolve over time. She is also interested in how leadership characteristics are presented in colonial Mexican and Spanish American literature
