Dr. Jiangbo Wan, visiting professor (2007-08), from Fudan Univeristy, Shanghai, China. She initiated a program in Chinese in the Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures in the fall of 2007. Dr. Wan received her Bachelor's Degree and Ph.D. from Shanghai International Studies University and Master Degree from Fudan University, Shanghai, China. Her teaching and research interests focus on the cultural and literary perspectives in translation. Her last book A Study on Bilingual Dictionaries and Translation (2006) has explored in depth the translation issues in the field of bilingual lexicography.
