The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures invites you to visit our Spanish Conversation Center to practice your spoken Spanish. The Spanish Conversation Center is staffed by graduate students in the Master of Arts in Spanish Program. The Center is free and open to everyone, including community members. You do not have to be enrolled in a Spanish course at UNCW to take advantage of this opportunity.

The Spanish Conversation Center is located in 124 Leutze Hall. Please participate in your level (100, 200, or 300/400). There is a limit of 5 students per 30 minute session. All sessions start on the hour and half hour - please do not disrupt a session already in progress. For more information on the Center's policies, please click here

The Spanish Conversation Center will be open during both summer sessions. It will run May 17 - June 19 for Summer 1 and June 27 - July 27 for Summer 2.

¡Saludos! Me llamo Melanie Forehand y soy de Chesapeake, Virginia. Me gradué de la universidad de William and Mary, donde estudié español y la historia. Trabajé durante 4 años como maestra de inglés en Guadalajara, México y este año empiezo el programa M.A. de Español. Estoy a sus órdenes y tengo muchas ganas de trabajar con ustedes y ayudarles a practicar el idioma.

¡Saludos a todos! Mi nombre es George Lewis, pero todo el mundo me llama por mi segundo nombre Gregory. Soy de Raleigh, NC y me gradué de Lee University en 2005 con licenciatura en psicología y español. Desde entonces, he sido profesor de inglés en Madrid, España. Estoy en el primer año del programa M.A. en español aquí en la UNCW. Lo que más me entusiasma es acompañar a los estudiantes mientras mejoran sus habilidades comunicativas en su segundo idioma, así que os espero en el centro de conversación y estoy seguro de que vamos a aprender juntos.
