María Camí-Vela has published three books and numerous articles on the subject of Spanish cinema and Spanish women in film and literature. Very active in curriculum development, she has created film courses for the departments of FLL and Film Studies. She has worked as an actor in My Life Without Me, and actor and executive producer in United We Stand. She is a member of the European Network for Cinema and Media Studies, the Association of Spanish Women Cineastes in the Film Industry and the Media and the Spanish Association of Film Historians.
