Dr. Rofheart currently teaches courses in Francophone literature and elementary French. Her areas of expertise include West African and Caribbean literature. Her research also involves oral performance and folklore, West African film, and new media in Africa. Dr. Rofheart has presented at the African Literature Association and the American Comparative Literature Association conferences. She is currently completing her book, Don’t Abandon “Our Boat”: Shifting Perceptions of Migration in Senegalese Literature, Film, and Social Media.
