Prospective Members

At least once per year, each fraternity or sorority conducts recruitment or intake or new members for their respective organizations. Below is information about the recruitment / intake processes for our Interfraternity Council (IFC) Fraternities, Panhellenic Council Sororities, National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and our Christian and Latin Sororities. So check them out and see which one is best for you!

IFC chapters are currently in the midst of their individual recruitment processes. Please contact a chapter president or Paul Flowe, IFC VP of Recruitment, for more information,.

National Pan-Hellenic Council

NPHC follows a process called intake. If you are interested in an NPHC chapter, take the time to do your research on the organization, attend their programs and introduce yourself to the members. Sigma Alpha Omega sorority is a leading sorority that focuses on Christian ideals and traditions.  The women live according to the ideals of Christ and His Word, uplifting each other through fellowship and service, and bringing the love of Christ to UNCW.

Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority

Lambda Theta Alpha is a leading national Latina sorority.  They promote scholarship, service, and the Latino culture.  The sorority assists with Hispanic Heritage Month and other activities that promote the Latino community.

Currently there a group of interested women who are seeking to restart the Lambda Theta Alpha Chapter at UNCW. If you are interested in Lambda Theta Alpha please contact Violeta Perez-Villa or Karen Orduna.
