Michelle Bliss is a nonfiction writer and reporter whose work has appeared in Ninth Letter, River Teeth, and the sixth edition of The Fourth Genre: Contemporary Writers of/on Creative Nonfiction. Her feature reporting has been heard on NPR's All Things Considered, and Michelle has filed several short, breaking news stories for NPR's daily shows on topics like Hurricane Irene and the Occupy movement. Her local feature reporting in Wilmington, North Carolina earned a 2011 regional Edward R. Murrow Award. Michelle is a graduate of the MFA program at UNC-Wilmington.
