Online Application and Letters of Recommendation
Make sure that your application status, on the online application system, is complete and that the application has been submitted. Once the application is submitted it will take several days for the application to enter our computer system. To check the status of your letters of recommendation, log onto the application. Go to the Recommenders section of the application and check to see if all of your letters of recommendation have been submitted by your recommenders. If you have a recommender that has not submitted, you may resend the recommendation request as a reminder.
Transcripts, and Test Scores.
Transcripts and test scores can take up to 3 weeks for delivery to the Graduate School, please be patient. If you have a question about your transcripts or test scores please call (910)-962-7303.
Deadlines
The Graduate School will send out reminder emails to applicants who have incomplete application. Please remember to check the e-mail that you have supplied on the application for information about your application. All application materials need to be in by the deadline listed for the program that you are applying too.
* Applications are not considered complete until the Graduate School has received all required documents.
Decisions
Decisions are made by each individual department and not by the Graduate School. Once a decision has been made, the program/department informs the Graduate School. Within a few days of the decision being made, the Graduate School and often times the program/department will inform the applicant by email of the decision. The Graduate School will also send a formal decision letter to the applicants current mailing address listed on the application. We can not provide specific information about decisions over the phone.
