How do I get my UNCW user name/e-mail address?

• E-mail is the official means of university communication with students and should be set up as soon as possible.
• Your email address will be created within a few days of your acceptance to UNCW.
• Your student user name will also be your UNCW e-mail address, and will be your initials followed by four randomly generated numbers.

To find your e-mail address, go to UNCW SeaPort and follow the steps below:

1. Click the "What is my Username/UNCW student e-mail address?" link on the SeaPort homepage.

2. In case this page(below) appears, please follow the step by step instructions found on the page.

3.  Fill in your Student ID Number or SSN.

4.  You now have your e-mail address, but you need to set a password. Click the link at the bottom of the results page.

5.  Click here for instructions on setting your UNCW e-mail password.

• To access your e-mail you can go to OWA or you can use SeaPort (click on the e-mail icon in the upper right portion of the screen), be sure to use your newly set password.
