Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Program in
Environmental Studies
Goal of Program:
Program is broad-based, multidisciplinary curriculum for professionals, practitioners, citizens and students who wish to strengthen their knowledge of the environment.
Program Audience:
- The curriculum is designed as a complement to degree-granting graduate programs in related content areas, thereby providing enhanced opportunities for development of the knowledge and practical skills necessary to analyze, assess and propose solutions to environmental issues.
Program Highlights:
- Post-baccalaureate certificates from the Department of Environmental Studies are available in Coastal Management, Environmental Education and Interpretation, and Environmental Management.
- Courses provide extended opportunities for fieldwork, research or creative projects and helps the student to bridge related theory with practical applications.
