Master Public Administration (MPA)

Goal of Program:
The mission of the MPA program is to advance effective public governance in southeastern North Carolina and beyond through the education of future leaders, relevant research, and a commitment to service that strengthens communities.
Program Highlights
Program offers afternoon and evening courses (3:30-4:45pm, 3:30-6:15pm, 5-6:15pm, 6:30-9:15) Mondays through Thursdays. We periodically offer courses that meet on Saturday and those available in an online format. No MPA courses meet on Fridays.

- Coastal Management,
- Environmental Policy and Management,
- Marine Policy,
- Nonprofit Management,
- Public Management,
- Public Policy Analysis, or
- Urban and Regional Policy and Planning

The program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA).
