UNC Wilmington will be hosting the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) examination on Saturday, August 11, 2007.  Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists are professionals who apply scientific knowledge to train athletes for the primary goal of improving athletic performance. They conduct sport-specific testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs and provide guidance regarding nutrition and injury prevention.  Early Registration Deadline: Friday, June 1, 2007  Registration Cut-Off: Friday, June 15, 2007.
