Registration Now Open for 2014 Seahawk Leadership Conference

Conference registration for the 2014 Seahawk Leadership Conference opened on Monday, September 8and will continue to occur on a first-come, first-served basis. At the time all 300 spaces are filled, additional registrants will be placed on a wait list. Wait listed registrants will be notified of any openings between September 8th and October 18th, in priority order. Registration can be completed online at

The second annual Seahawk Leadership Conference will occur onSaturday, October 18, 2014from 9:00am-4:30pm. This conference provides up to 300 UNCW students with a free opportunity to attend a campus-based leadership conference and connect with other students, faculty, staff, and local community members. It is designed to provide leadership development opportunities for UNCW students of all levels, abilities, and interests.

The conference offerings consist of

  • Morning welcome
  • Two morning educational session blocks (up to eight choices within each block)
  • Lunch-time keynote speaker
  • Two afternoon educational session blocks (up to eight choices within each block), and
  • Four Seahawk Talks

The content of the conference focuses on the four topical areas of personal leadership, organizational leadership, social justice, and navigating a career path. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided to all participants.
