The University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) invites applications for a Visiting Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology and Marine Biology. The successful candidate will join a NSF funded project investigating the anaerobic ammonium oxidation and sedimentary nitrogen cycle. We are keenly interested in applicants capable of conducting multidisciplinary research on stable isotope biogeochemistry and molecular microbial ecology.
This is a three-year time limited position and may be renewed depending on availability of funding. Candidates must have a completed Ph.D. in the related fields of biogeochemistry, microbiology, or molecular biology.
