The University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNC Wilmington) invites applications for two full-time faculty positions.  One in Pediatric Nursing and one in Adult Medical Surgical Nursing. The School of Nursing (SON) offers NLNAC and CCNE accredited undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Nursing and a non-nursing Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Research. Located in southeastern North Carolina within minutes of the Atlantic Ocean, UNC Wilmington is one of 16 constituent campuses of the University of North Carolina. The university offers more than 70 undergraduate and more than 30 graduate degree programs, including doctoral programs in marine biology and educational leadership, to nearly 12,000 students. Ranked among the top 10 public master’s institutions in the South by U.S.News and World Report for the past 10 years, UNC Wilmington is an active learning community that is committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Minimal requirements include a master's degree in nursing and tenure track positions require a doctorate in nursing or related area. Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator certification preferred, but all qualified applicants will be considered. Competency in web-based instruction is preferred. The applicant must be a registered nurse with a minimum of three years in clinical practice and eligible for North Carolina licensure.  Preference is given to applicants with teaching experience in the area applied for.

SALARY:  Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
