DIRECTOR OF ATHLETIC TRAINING

The University of North Carolina at Wilmington is seeking applications for a full time, 12 month position for Director of Athletic Training.  The Director of Athletic Training assumes the day-to-day responsibilities of the athletic training program.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, creating, implementing and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures related to athletic training services; overseeing evaluation and assessment, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning of UNCW’s varsity athletes; organizing and administering the athletic training service along with the professional development of staff and students in the Athletic Training Program. Qualifications: Master’s Degree, NATABOC certified athletic trainer, eligible for NC licensure.  Previous experience as head athletic trainer at a college/university preferred.  Pending budget approval; Salary is commensurate with labor market.
