Visiting Research Assistant Professor

UNC Wilmington (UNCW) invites applications for a visiting research assistant professor position in marine chemistry/geochemistry and chemical oceanography. The principal responsibility of this position is to conduct research in collaboration with faculty and students; research must be complementary to ongoing research. Current projects are listed at http://www.uncw.edu/chem/research-marine.html. Teaching and outreach opportunities also exist; this is a resume building position.

Candidates must have completed or be within a few months of completion of a Ph.D. in a relevant field. A letter of interest (which must include a statement of research interests including potential collaborators at UNCW) addressed to the search committee chair, Dr. Joan Willey, curriculum vitae (which must include Ph.D. dissertation title, abstract and supervisor,) and contact information for three professional references.
