Assistant Professor - Computer & Network Security

The Department of Computer Science at University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor to begin August 2008.  Ph.D. or (ABD) in Computer Science or related area is required, with emphasis in computer and network security or closely related area. Prior teaching experience preferred. Duties include undergraduate and graduate teaching, maintaining an active research program, and directing undergraduate and graduate students. The department has approximately 150 undergraduate majors and 45 graduate students, and offers the B.S. degree in computer science and the M.S. degree in computer science and information systems. The department currently has fourteen full-time faculty members and recently moved to a new building in January 2007.
