Lecturer in Studio Art for 2008-2009 academic year

UNC Wilmington is seeking applicants for a one-year full-time lecturer position to teach 2D design foundation courses, life drawing, drawing and painting courses. The teaching assignment will be four courses each semester. MFA required with a minimum of 3 years experience in teaching 2D foundations and life drawing and/or painting at the college level. Duties include teaching undergraduate-level courses, advising students, and assisting with university committees and departmental work.
Deadline for receipt of applications is May 30, 2008 for initial review; applications received after that date will be considered until position is filled. UNC Wilmington, ranked among the top ten public universities in the South, is located in an historic coastal resort city.
