UNC-Wilmington is accepting applications for a certified internship athletic trainer position. This position is a 10-month position without benefits. Pay for this position will be $15,000.00, with a $500.00 continuing education allocation. UNC-Wilmington is a member of the Colonial Athletic Association. Sport coverage will be Volleyball, Swimming & Diving, and other coverage as needed. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Injury recognition, evaluation, treatments, appropriate physician referral, taping, bracing, serving as an ACI in our CAATE accredited Athletic Training Education Program, communication with other staff members, coaches, and administrators when appropriate, and concise documentation of medial records. Individuals should be able to demonstrate knowledge of conference rules.

Qualifications:
NATABOC certification. Master's Degree preferred but not required , CPR, First-Aid, AED Certification required. Eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
