Online Alumni Magazine of the Cameron School of Business
February 2008

Dear Cameron School of Business alumni,

Sarah CainAs Cameron School of Business alumni we have many reasons to be proud – excellent faculty, wonderful facilities and the opportunity to receive an outstanding education. In October, the Princeton Review named the Cameron School of Business as one of the top 290 business schools. In January, Kiplinger’s ranked UNC Wilmington in Top Four “Best Values” in North Carolina. So no matter if you graduated in 1947 or 2007, you have a lot to be proud of.

Since my last letter the CSB Alumni Chapter has been working hard. We met in October to work on our strategic plan. Since then we have been developing a CSB alumni interest survey. Please make sure that we have your current e-mail address on file so you can participate in this important survey. E-mail address updates can be sent to alumni@uncw.edu.

We are also seeking volunteers to serve on the executive committee of the Cameron School of Business Alumni Chapter. If you would be interested in serving your chapter and the Cameron School, please contact me at shcain@firsthorizon.com. The success and the activities held by the chapter depend on the involvement of its members. I encourage each of you, no matter where you live, to consider the role you want to play in the success of your business school. This chapter is a great way to stay connected and involved with CSB and UNCW.

Our next event will be the annual Business Week alumni mixer, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 in the Computer Information Systems Building. During this event we will recognize the 2008 Cameron School of Business Outstanding Alumni. To RSVP for this event, please e-mail alumni@uncw.edu. I hope to see you all there.

As always it is my pleasure to serve as your chapter president.

Best Regards,
Sara Hall Cain ’99, ’05M
