![]() Dean’s Welcome I would like to welcome you to the inaugural online edition of Cameron Insider. In our continuing effort to optimize communication yet more efficiently use resources in support of the campus-wide sustainability focus, we have decided to provide the winter edition via the Web. This summer you will receive a printed copy of the next edition of Cameron Insider. It has been exciting for Cameron to welcome students in to our new International MBA, a dual-degree graduate program with five European partner schools. Students complete coursework in two schools, two different countries. Our focus is international finance, capitalizing on our Financial Markets Room, the Edward Jones Financial Lab and the $1 million BB&T Student Managed Investment Fund. We continue to be campus leaders in opportunities for Cameron undergraduate students to study abroad. A year ago we became co-tenants of the fabulous new Computer Information Systems Building. This year we are completing renovations to Cameron Hall which we anticipate will carry us through until this building has a much needed major overhaul. We were able to bring a more professional appearance to the entrance and hallways while improving the classrooms and technical capabilities within the building – please read the piece on the Sales and Marketing Lab for further details. Cameron continues to be committed to providing the most powerful learning experience possible for our students. In October we were recognized by Princeton Review as one of the best 290 Business Schools, focusing on our Master of Business Administration program. Our Cameron Executive Network continues to gain national attention for the personal one-on-one work of our mentors, including the nearly 35 CEN members who spend a day a week with us participating in our Resume Assistance Program. We greatly appreciate all you have done to support Cameron School of Business. We want to hear from you and welcome your comments and ideas. I can be reached at clarkl@uncw.edu. Thank you for your ongoing commitment! Dean Larry Clark |
