Faculty, Staff & Students Encouraged to Use UNCW WIFI

When it comes to wireless access at UNCW, there are two separate networks: UNCW WIFI and SEAHAWK GUEST. ITSD strongly recommends that faculty, staff and students use UNCW WIFI to take full advantage of the university network. Seahawk Guest is intended for university guests needing temporary access to the Internet, and it does not offer the robust bandwidth and security of the UNCW WIFI network. Further, the UNCW WIFI network allows access to university resources, not offered with the guest network.
