Important Blackboard Migration Reminder for Faculty

UNCW is on schedule for migrating from Blackboard Vista to Blackboard Learn (9.1) by August 1. ITSD is asking faculty to choose one of the following two options:

1. Move existing content from Blackboard Vista to Blackboard Learn (deadline approaching): Due to the time-intensive nature of moving content, this request must be made by May 30 to ensure that content is ready for the fall semester. Faculty should fill out this form as soon as possible to make this request.

2. Rebuild existing courses in Blackboard Learn: This option involves faculty starting over with content, instead of moving content. For training or help, faculty should contact the Office of e-Learning (www.uncw.edu/oel).

Please note: For the fall 2011 semester, courses will ONLY be available in Blackboard Learn (9.1). As of August, access to Blackboard Vista will no longer be available on campus. Data will be archived and retained for grade challenges.
