Banner Upgrade Coming Soon (Begins Feb. 23)

ITS has been working collaboratively with departments across campus to plan for a required Banner system upgrade, which will begin on Thursday, February 23 at 5 p.m. and conclude by Monday, February 27 at 8 a.m. Please be aware that Banner/Hawkeye and SeaNet will be unavailable during this time. Some of the features in mySeaport will be affected, but this downtime will not affect UNCW e-mail services. Blackboard Learn should remain available for faculty and student use (Note: Bb Learn course enrollment information will not be updated during the upgrade).
A partial list of applications unavailable during the upgrade includes:
- Banner Password Change App
- Banner Self-Service / SeaNet
- HR Online
- ImageNow (view only document access)
- SSRS Reporting
- Teal Ticket
- UNCW Password Change App
ITS and other departments will be working throughout the weekend to complete the upgrade as quickly as possible. Faculty and staff are encouraged to plan accordingly for this scheduled downtime.
