Coming soon – New, Improved Network Registration System
Thursday, June 13, 2013
ITS is pleased to announce that we will be rolling out a new and improved network registration system to the campus over the summer. The new system—Cisco’s Identity Services Engine (ISE)—provides increased security and a more seamless approach to registering devices on the network. Also, faculty, staff and students will no longer need to register their devices with the old network registration system each year.
With the assistance of Cisco onsite the week of June 17, we will begin the rollout of ISE slowly in a pilot phase (one building at a time). The following buildings will be part of the early pilot phase: Hoggard Hall, Kenan Auditorium, Kenan Hall, DePaolo Hall and King Hall. If you are in any of these buildings and experience any issues with your connectivity, please contact the TAC at 910-962-4357 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
ITS will continue to keep the campus informed as we move forward with implementing this new system.
