Since July 1, 1999, the Information Technology Systems Division has created and aligned new and old positions to develop a cohesive organizational system for the development and continuing support of information technology throughout UNCW. The process of organizing the division and determining the linkages important to the achievement of goals and objectives for the institution began after the Chancellor created the new ITSD division. It is through this organization, its constituencies, and alliances that information technology has become a vital resource in the learning and teaching experience university wide.
