UNCW Marketing and Communications is updating its Experts List, which provides background and contact information on university experts for members of the media. Media outlets often contact Marketing and Communications looking for faculty experts to comment on current issues and topics of interest in the news. This provides the opportunity to showcase the research and scholarship of UNCW and increase the visibility of the university with external audiences.

Faculty and staff are listed according to their academic disciplines and areas of research and scholarship. Listed faculty must be willing to do interviews and answer local, state and national media queries. Media training is available upon request.
