*To receive emergency texts, students, faculty and staff must update their cell phone number:
Students can register their cell phone numbers by logging onto SeaPort, clicking on the “Student” tab, clicking on “Cell Phone Update” on the right-hand side of the page and entering the appropriate information.
Faculty and staff can register their cell phone numbers by going to www.uncw-campus.info, scrolling over the "Questions/Comments" tab, choosing the "Join Notification List" option, identifying themselves as belonging to the group “Faculty/Staff,” clicking “Go,” inserting their personal contact information including cell phone number into the “Phone” field, and clicking “Submit.”
UNCW is not able to send emergency notifications directly to parents or community members via e-mail, text message, voice message or other personal communication mediums.
