Fall 2006

• Teacher Leadership Cadre (9 day Professional Development on Connecting Algebra and Geometry) A program was provided by UNCW and Texas Instruments. The program is to help teachers develop an effective use of technology in the classroom. The fee for this program was free to classroom teachers, building curriculum leaders, or district-level supervisors and coordinators. The only costs that they may have incurred was associated with travel and incentives for teachers.
  

• Pre-Service Teacher Technology Short Course A one day course designed for pre-service and in-service math and science middle/high teachers that investigated materials and activities for educators interested in integrating handheld technology.

Spring 2007

• Workshop: Using Graphing Calculators on the EOC's and the SAT's (May 2007)
