Parking:

UNCW will be between semesters, so parking will be plentiful. Please let us know you drove when you pick up your registration packet so we can give you a parking permit to hang on your mirror. You will be able to park on any of the parking lots, as long as you are not trying to park on a reserved space or a non-designated parking space.  Reserved spaces are clearly marked. Also, the convenient gated lots will have the gates raised for your use. All gates automatically open when exiting. Please refer any parking issues to the Help Desk.

Local Transportation:

Limited Local transportation is provided by shuttle between the hotels listed and UNCW (Schedule will be available at Registration Desk). We appreciate that if you could use your own transportation between Conference site and hotels.

Facilities:

Every room has an overhead projector. In addition, most rooms have multimedia capabilities including LCD projectors (computer screen projection). Allocation of rooms was based on previously expressed requests for this additional service.

For PowerPoint presentation, you may bring your presentation on floppy-disk, 100 MB zip disk, CD ROM, or your own laptop computers. While internet service is generally available in all rooms with LCD projectors, we can not assure internet access will be available during your presentations. We strongly recommend you prepare a set of   transparencies as backup.

Computer Operating Systems and Applications:

Our computers are PCs with Microsoft Operating Systems all capable of running PowerPoint presentations.

Email access will be available in Bear Hall room 161 (see your Program and Abstracts handout for details).

Lunch:

Free lunch buffets are being provided to all registered participants May 24 - 27, and lunch tickets will be given at registration. Refreshment, coffee and drinks are also being provided in the morning and afternoon breaks.
