This female harbor porpoise live stranded in Corolla, NC and, due to its poor condition, was euthanized by a veterinarian. It was transported by Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center Volunteers to UNCW for necropsy. The porpoise appeared to be a somewhat thin, juvenile animal with no evidence of food in its stomach.
