Nancy King, soprano, received her M.M. from Boston University and her B.M. from the University of Western Ontario, both in vocal performance. She currently pursues a D.M.A. at the University of Minnesota, where she studies with Jean del Santo. Ms. King also won the Voices of Vienna Scholarship to study at the Mozarteum Sommerakademie in Salzburg, Austria. She performs frequently in recitals and oratorios, regionally as well as throughout Canada, Germany and Austria. A popular clinician for area choral ensembles, Ms. King is also a member of the Oregon Bach Festival Choir, under the direction of Helmut Rilling. She is currently the Voice Chair for the NCMTA, and is the Coordinator for Vocal Performance at UNCW.
