Diploma: Pécs Institute of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music .

Elizabeth Loparits began her professional career in her native Hungary, where she participated in numerous master classes, and won second prize at the 1995 National Bartók Piano Competition.  As a soloist and chamber musician she has performed on concerts in Hungary, Costa Rica, Austria, and the United States. Dr. Loparits has also served as a Young Artist coach/accompanists for two summers at the prestigious Opera North Company, and in 2001, as a winner of a concerto competition she performed with the NC-Symphony as a soloist. Besides performing she is also passionate about teaching piano lessons and classes. She has been teaching privately since 2001 and has served as faculty for five summers at the UNCG Summer Music Camp.
